Overall:
God of Malice was extremely painful to read… The moment I finished chapter 2 I should have known there would be no redemption for the story, but I guess my own delusion made me still have hope. Every person that simps for Killian should honestly seek professional help, everytime he spoke I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. I gave it 1.5/5 stars purely based on the side characters specially Remi, Eli, Ava and Nikolai.
Characters:
Killian was not it for me. For me, all his personality felt soooo forced and he gave me the biggest ick ever. That boy is the definition of a walking red flag, he is literally the most inflexible MMC ever for no other reason than to be a “psycho”, and most disgustedly he is a certified rapist……
Glydon was really sweet, even if I felt she lacked a bit of personality. I didn’t love her but also didn’t dislike, I don’t really have an opinion about her.
As for their relationship, it was painful to read since they had like 0 chemistry and their scenes started becoming really repetitive after 20% of the book. I will give some points for the initiation scene because Rina Kent honestly ate the writing of that eheh.
Atmosphere:
I think this might have been one of the only things I liked about this book. I was really into the whole universities rivalry scene and their special clubs and I’m very interested to see where all that drama leads to in the next books.
