Overall:
God of War was by far the best book I’ve read from this series (only read God of Malice and God of Pain, because I just loved Eli and had to read more about him so I skipped the other for now). Overall I give it ⅘ stars, because even thought I absolutely loved Eli and Ava’s relationship I still felt like Rina Kent’s writing gets a bit repetitive and it becomes very noticeable when read her books in a row.
Characters:
I’m obsessed with both Eli and Ava. Their relationship was by far the healthiest from the series and I loved that both of them tried their best to communicate but also that they knew when to push or not the other. They are the definition of “Barbie has a great day every day. Ken only has a great day if Barbie looks at him” and I loved every second of it!
Eli is literally the best husband and I really enjoyed reading how much he cared for Ava even when he didn’t really know how to express himself. He was so caring and did everything in his power to protect from others and herself!
Ava was also the FMC from this series, because my girl had her problems but pretty much self-aware and knew her worth and when to put her man in place.
Also she is the queen of manifestation because my girl got everything she ever wished for and more eheh!
Atmosphere:
Really liked the change of scenery from the university campus and loved to see how the other characters grew and what became of them after university.
